Initial Findings from the Sociological Survey of the Levels of Corruption (Based on the NAPC Methodology” Presented
On September 18, the NAPC presented initial findings from a pilot sociological survey that was conducted based on the Methodology for a Standard Survey Concerning the Level of Corruption in Ukraine approved by the NAPC in early 2017. However, experts have expressed serious concerns regarding the quality of the completed study. For example, the study envisioned carrying out a survey of experts, and findings from this survey are included in the report – yet, the list of experts who were survey is missing. Findings from this survey were taken into account in the drafting of a new Anticorruption Strategy only slightly. Any information about the organization or about other studies (particularly the quality ones) of the state of corruption in Ukraine conducted by the Agency is missing.
