NAPC Monitors the Implementation of Measures Envisioned by the Anticorruption Strategy and the State Program for Its Implementation
The National Agency for Preventing Corruption carries out periodic monitoring of the implementation of state anticorruption policy measures. However, the public is not involved in this process. Information on the state of implementation of measures envisioned by the Anticorruption Strategy and the State Program for its implementation is found in annual national reports on the implementation of anticorruption policy and principles. Drafts of such reports were produced by the NAPC and submitted for Parliament’s review following their approval by the Cabinet of Ministers in 2017 and 2018; yet, none of these reports was approved by the Parliament as required by the Law “On Preventing Corruption”. Only the first draft of the national report was presented in 2017 during the annual parliamentary hearings on the state of corruption.
