NAPC Approved Methodology and Methodological Guidelines for Conducting Anticorruption Expert Assessment of Draft Legislation
On December 29, 2018, the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption issued a decision approving the Methodology for Conducting Anticorruption Expert Assessment of Draft Legislation by the National Agency, as well as the Methodological Guidelines for conducting such assessment. As a result, the NAPC is now empowered to fully exercise its respective authority and to conduct anticorruption expert assessments of draft legislation. Until now, the NAPC was guided by the Methodology issued in 2015 by the Ministry of Justice. From becoming operational in 2016 through December 2018, the NAPC issued anticorruption expert assessment opinions regarding 15 draft laws.
