NAPC Approved Methodological Guidelines for Regulating the Conflict of Interests
On July 14, 2016, NAPC issued a decision approving Methodological Guidelines Relating to Preventing and Regulating Conflict of Interests in the Activity of Persons Authorized to Exercise State or Local Self-Governance Functions and Their Equivalents. The Guidelines are informational and interpretative in nature, and are aimed at increasing the understandings of legislative requirements concerning prevention, reporting, and regulation of conflict of interests on behalf of public servants. This document contains examples of specific situations that help public servants better understand the requirements of legislation and their action algorhithms in various scenarios. In addition, a detailed distinction is made between real and potential conflict of interests concepts.
